Makenzie loved Aiden's birthday gift! We had a hard time getting her off of it so the other kids could ride. Looks like we might have to get her one!

Behind again!
So much has happened with so little time to write about it. Forgive me for the mass picture posts and and the brief descriptions!
Christmas was wonderful! It was our first Christmas in our house and my parents, sister Cassi and Grandma flew in from WA to spend it with us. We had Eric's side of the family over for Christmas dinner and we had a full house! Makenzie enjoyed opening presents and playing with the wrapping paper.
In January we went to Phoenix so I could run in the Phoenix Rock and Roll half marathon with Tammy. Tammy and Zach flew down from Montana and we had a great time hanging out while Makenzie hung out with Grandma Julie. Makenzie was fully crawling by the time we got home from the trip so it was time to baby proof the house!
Morgan and Josie came to visit at the end of January. It was so great to see them! Josie and Makenzie played well together and both Makenzie and I were sad to see them go!
Eric, Makenzie and I went to Denver in February for an Avalanche game. Makenzie loved all the people but really didn't like the horn that they blew when the Av's scored!
In March we went on a cruise to Mexico. It was a big family get together with 22 people in our group. All of Makenzie's grandparents came and it was great! Eric and I got some time to hang out just the two of us. Makenzie got spoiled by everyone! She loved to say "hi" to everyone that walked past and made friends with the piano player in the jazz lounge. She learned that if she fussed enough during dinner that someone would walk to the lounge so she could dance and clap to the music. He even dedicated a couple songs just to her.

Makenzie loved the ocean! We held her hands and let the tide come and splash her and she couldn't get enough of it. When we finally pulled her out of the water and tried to take her back to the towels she took off crawling straight for the water. She was our little sea turtle! Her crawling as fast as she could with a soggy wet diaper hanging off her! It was so cute!
Okay so my goal is to make at least one new post a week! We will see if I can stick to it.

Makenzie's Work Station
Makenzie loves sitting in my lap at the computer and pounding on the keyboard. I decided that this wasn't a good idea when she somehow managed to reformat my computer layout! Grandpa Larry had an extra keyboard so now Makenzie has her own work station. She even has a real cell phone to play with. Even though we have charged the phone so it lights up and makes noise, it still isn't as cool as Eric's Blackberry!
